Film and Media Production, BFA (New York)

The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Media Production is designed to equip students with the essential artistic, technical, and intellectual skills to excel in the highly competitive film, television, and digital media industries. The program seeks to develop creative storytellers who are not only proficient in the tools of media production but are also critical thinkers, innovators, and responsible global citizens. Individualized attention and hands-on training using state-of-the-art equipment, combined with a strong liberal arts foundation, position students to create meaningful, socially engaged media projects. Students are encouraged to immerse themselves in the industry by taking internships in television, film, radio, emerging technology, and media production companies. This comprehensive education in film and media emphasizes both creative expression and professional development, preparing graduates to thrive in various roles within the ever-evolving media landscape.

This program is currently only available to former Marymount Manhattan College students who are eligible for continued enrollment at Northeastern University. This program includes required courses that will be taught on ground at the Northeastern New York City campus.

Complete all courses listed below unless otherwise indicated. Also complete any corequisite labs, recitations, clinicals, or tools courses where specified and complete any additional courses needed beyond specific college and major requirements to satisfy graduation credit requirements.
