The practice-oriented sports leadership master’s degree is structured to accommodate midcareer athletic administrators, coaches, and individuals seeking to prepare for careers in the sports industry.
The Master of Sports Leadership degree seeks to prepare learners for various sport-related occupations—working with a professional or intercollegiate sports team; with a fitness club or wellness organization; or in marketing, communication, or sports management. Courses within the program examine the social and business issues critical to sports leadership. Offered in primarily online format with intensive one-week institutes at specific Northeastern University campuses, this practice-oriented degree seeks to provide learners with a well-rounded educational experience, equipping them to advance their careers in the sports industry.
