The combined major in business administration and criminal justice integrates the study of business with relevant topics from criminal justice. Students complete core courses in business administration and criminal justice as well as electives related to current topics, institutions, crime, and systemic issues. This combined major highlights the intersection between business practices and criminal justice issues.
The combined major also allows students to explore areas where criminal justice issues impact business practices and operations. Some potential areas that are relevant to business include the structure of the criminal justice system, corruption, crime, corporate security, global criminal issues, and corporate and white-collar crime. These areas may be particularly appealing to students in accounting, finance, international business, management information systems, and supply chain.
Complete all courses listed below unless otherwise indicated. Also complete any corequisite labs, recitations, clinicals, or tools courses where specified and complete any additional courses needed beyond specific college and major requirements to satisfy graduation credit requirements.
