Acting, BFA (New York)

The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting program is designed to develop the skills and techniques required for a successful career in performance. It aims to provide students with a comprehensive education in acting, encompassing both classical and contemporary approaches, while fostering creativity, discipline, and professional readiness. The program is committed to preparing students for diverse opportunities in theater, film, television, and other performance-based mediums. The program emphasizes hands-on experience, with numerous performance opportunities and collaborations with experienced faculty and industry professionals.

The program is intended for students with a passion for performance and a desire to pursue a professional acting career; who are interested in exploring the full spectrum of acting from stage to screen; and who seek a structured, immersive education in the craft.

Complete all courses listed below unless otherwise indicated. Also complete any corequisite labs, recitations, clinicals, or tools courses where specified and complete any additional courses needed beyond specific college and major requirements to satisfy graduation credit requirements.
