The investment banking concentration is designed to empower students to learn in the global capital of finance, home to the world's most prestigious investment banks and boutique investment firms. This concentration pairs with Northeastern University's signature experiential learning model in a natural way: The technical skills developed in the classroom directly mirror the work students will perform on the job, such as financial modeling and deal analysis. This concentration is specifically oriented toward these career pathways, making this a notable differentiator for the New York City campus and a clear signal to the market that DMSB graduates are ready from day one.
The concentration is structured around two required courses and two electives that allow students to personalize their preparation for sell-side advisory and capital markets roles.
Admissions to this concentration open in 2027-2028.
